'The Law and You' lecture series continues

The University of Delaware’s Legal Studies Program is sponsoring an informative lecture series on the opportunities in law and public service for students considering law school. Speakers will discuss their personal experience in the field of law and public service.

All lectures are open to the university community and will meet at 12:20 p.m., Fridays, in 104 Gore Hall.

Dates and speakers include:

March 15, Dallas Winslow, public defender;
March 22, Claire Matteis, a member of U.S. Sen. Joseph Biden’s congressional staff;
March 29, Lawrence Hamermesh, president of the Delaware ACLU;
April 12, Gary Smith, who has a private practice;
April 19, Valerie Hans, professor of criminal justice;
April 26, William Carpenter, U.S. Superior Court judge;
May 3, Sheldon Pollack, associate professor of accounting and management information sciences.
