Dining Services serves up international cuisine Nov. 18-22
12:35 p.m., Nov. 15, 2002--UD students can sample delectable foods from around the world without leaving campus thanks to Dining Services participation in International Education Week, Nov. 18-22. The week began Monday, Nov. 18, with a selection of world breads served during lunch in all dining rooms. At dinner, a Pan African sampler was available in Kent Dining Room, and the Trabant University Center and the Perkins Student Center Scrounge featured Greek dishes. Tuesday, Nov. 19, English tea with scones and biscuits are being served during lunch at Pencader Dining Hall, and A Taste of Germany is being presented at dinner in the Russell Dining Hall. Trabant and the Scrounge are offering Italian selections. Wednesday, Nov. 20, French crepes and tarts will be available during lunch in Rodney Dining Hall, and the Australian Bobby Dazzler, a selection of different dishes from Down Under, will be featured during dinner at Pencader Dining Hall. Mexican selections will be the fare at Trabant and the Scrounge. Thursday, Nov. 21, will feature Tostada Town during lunch at Russell Dining Hall. All dining halls will offer traditional American Thanksgiving food at dinner, while oriental selections will be available at Trabant and the Scrounge. Friday, Nov. 22, Middle Eastern salads and spreads will be on the lunch menu at Kent Dining Hall, and classic Asian dishes will be featured at dinner in Rodney Dining Hall. Caribbean selections will be offered at Trabant and the Scrounge. |
