Blue Hen ice hockey falls to No. 1 Penn State
10:35 a.m., Nov. 25, 2002--The host University of Delaware men’s club ice hockey team dropped a pair of weekend game to undefeated Penn State University, the top ranked team in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Division I.
Penn State defeated the Blue Hens 6-2 on Friday, Nov. 22, and 7-4 on Saturday, Nov. 23. Both games were played in the Rust Arena.
Penn State improved to 14-0 while Delaware fell to 9-4.
The Blue Hens will next face the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis on Friday, Dec. 6.
UD will return to home ice for a game against Drexel University on Saturday, Dec. 7, in the Rust Arena.
