Hispanic Immigration subject of Jan. 30 lecture
The Impact of Hispanic Immigration in Delaware will be the subject of a free public lecture, scheduled from 3-5 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 30, in the Trabant University Center.
Speakers will be Katherine Borland, author and assistant professor of comparative studies in the humanities at Ohio State University, and Mark J. Miller, professor of political science and international relations and an immigration specialist at the University of Delaware.
Light refreshments will follow the lecture, and copies of Borlands book, Creating Community: Hispanic Migration to Rural Delaware, will be available for purchase.
