1:37 p.m., Nov. 6, 2002--Staff and faculty who are parents or guardians of unmarried, dependent, full-time students who have turned 21 this past year should watch for an important health-care form that is being mailed now.
UD’s medical carriers, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Delaware and Coventry Health Care of Delaware, are sending out student certification forms for those born in 1981, which must be filled out and returned by the indicated deadlines. Failure to return the verification form will result in the cancellation of dependent’s medical coverage, effective Dec. 31, 2002.
