UD Southern Delaware Golf Outing set June 4

May 24, 2002--It’s $1 million for the golfer who sinks a hole-in-one at the second annual University of Delaware Southern Delaware Golf Outing, Tuesday, June 4 at the Baywood Greens Golf Course in Long Neck, Del. The outing raises money in support of student scholarships at UD.

The $1 million prize is sponsored by Jeffrey B. Martino, an agent with American Express Financial Advisers Inc.

Another hole-in-one contest sponsored by Harley Davidson of Seaford will bring the winner a new Soft-Tail Springer motorcycle.

The day begins at 10 a.m. when the practice facility will be available to players. Check-in is at 11 a.m., with lunch at 11:45 a.m. and tee-off at 1 p.m. Awards will be presented at an authentic southern barbecue reception/dinner starting at 4:30 p.m.
