A funeral service for Rene Coulet du Gard, professor emeritus of foreign languages and literatures, will be held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12, at the Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark. Friends may call after 12:30 p.m.

Dr. Coulet du Gard, who died Feb. 8, taught at UD for 22 years, retiring in 1988. During his career here, he established and directed a number of student abroad and exchange programs with several French universities.

Contributions in his memory may be made to the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures to fund study abroad scholarships.
