Special fund will help fire victim

The Elaine Johnson Fire Fund has been established with WSFS in the Trabant University Center to raise money for a University of Delaware employee whose home in Elkton, Md., was destroyed by fire on Sunday, March 10.

Johnson is a member of the staff of the Department of Art Conservation and the Center for American Material Culture Studies. She and her family lost everything when their home burned to the ground.

The family and their pets, including two dogs and a pair of kittens, managed to escape unharmed.

For information, call WSFS at 831-4400, or contact Sandy Manno at 831-2678 or via e-mail at smanno@udel.edu.
