| Poetry reading by Edward Field set Nov. 19
3:50 p.m., Nov. 14, 2002--Edward Field, contemporary American poet and writer, will read from his works at 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Class of 1941 Lecture Room in Morris Library.
Field is the author of many works of poetry, including Magic Words (1998) and Stand Up, Friend, With Me (1963). He has edited a number of poetry anthologies, including A Geography of Poets (1979), and is the author of the novel Village (1982). The UD Library is home to the Edward Field Papers.
A reception in the Morris Library Commons will follow the talk. The event is free and open to the public. To attend, call the Office of the Director of Libraries at 831-2231. Parking will be available in Visitor Lot #41.
