| Lecture on Historical Case for Feminism set Oct. 16
Oct. 10, 2002--Estelle Freedman, founder of the Program in Feminist Studies at Stanford University, will discuss her new book, No Turning Back: The Historical Case for Feminism, at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 16, in 205 Gore Hall.
The free lecture is open to the public and sponsored by the Womens Studies Program, the Visiting Women Scholars Program, the Faculty Senate Committee on Cultural Activities and Public Events and the departments of Anthropology, History and Sociology.
