Fall parking registration will start April 8

Park by phone has been replaced by UD e-park.

In an effort to improve service, University of Delaware Parking Services has eliminated its park by phone program in favor of a web-based system. Parking permits now can be purchased online.

Employees, staff and students can register for the 2002-3 year beginning April 8 by visiting [www.udel.edu/permits], reading the registration information and using the express link at the bottom of the page to begin. Log in using your Social Security number and personal identification number (PIN) and follow the on-screen instructions.

A Parking Services representative said that registering online will eliminate standing in line to purchase a permit, allow students to bill the fee to their student accounts if permit registration is completed early, eliminate permit registration letters and assure you the closest available parking at time of registration.

Students who plan to live on campus next year do not need to know their residence hall assignment to register for a permit.

If you plan to get a new car, you can register any family vehicle and update your web registration by Aug. 1. If your car purchase is after Aug. 1, contact Parking Services by e-mail at [parking@udel.edu] with the new vehicle information and staff will update the permit for you.

Parking Services recommends that students living on campus purchase their permits for the full academic year to retain the closest lots and to be placed in the queue for even closer lots as they become available.

Lot availability is very limited by the time of spring registration, with most new lot assignments being issued for lots 1 and 88, near the Delaware Field House.
