English honors society presents movies and poetry reading

Sigma Tau Delta, the English honors society, will hold a series of events including a Halloween movie night, at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 30, in 037 Memorial Hall. Movies include Bram Stoker’s Dracula and Event Horizon. Participants are encouraged to bring candy and wear costumes.

“The Writers Harvest National Reading, presenting works by Dana Garrett, Juliana Baggott and Fleda Brown, will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Nov. 9, in 049 Memorial Hall. Cash donations for a local food bank will be accepted.

B Movie Night, featuring surprise movies with host Mike Murdoch, will take place at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 14, in 127 Memorial Hall.

Guy Ritchie Movie Night, featuring Snatch and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, will be begin at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 28, in 127 Memorial Hall.
