University continues efforts to conserve energy

Aug. 14, 2002--The University of Delaware is continuing its efforts to conserve energy as temperatures continue to range from 90-100 degrees Fahrenheit.

Help conserve energy by following these tips:

  • Turn off unnecessary lights, office and other operating equipment;

  • Adjust laboratory hood sashes to minimize unnecessary exhaust;

  • Close window blinds and exterior doors; and

  • Take any other measures that will reduce the consumption of electricity.
