July 25, 2002--The Delaware Express professional basketball club has announced a workshop and tryouts for its dance squad.
The team, which is part of the Eastern Basketball Alliance, will hold a workshop from 10:45 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, July 27, at the Peoples Settlement Association, 400 East 8th St., Wilmington. Fee is $30 in advance, $40 the day of the workshop. Registration will be held from 10-10:30 a.m.
Tryouts will be held from noon-4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 3, at Kahunaville, 500 South Madison St., Wilmington. Registration and warm-up will be held from 10:30 a.m.-noon.
Final tryouts will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, also at Kahunaville. Warm-up will be from 11-11:45 a.m., with the finals from noon-4 p.m.
