Newark police are investigating the robbery of a male University of Delaware student around 10:30p.m., Saturday, May 4, on West Park Place near Elkton Road.
Attempted robbery reported near campus (April 29, 2002)
A UD male student walking on Ashley Road just west of South Chapel Street around 12:30 a.m., Saturday, April 27, was approached by a man who demanded his wallet.
Student robbed (April 14, 2002)
University police are investigating a report of a robbery of a male student at the top of Pencader steps on north campus late Thursday night (around midnight April 14).
Student accosted (April 10, 2002)
University police are investigating a report of an attempted robbery of a male student on the south Mall near Squire Hall about 3 a.m., April 11.
Walking escort service expanded (April 4, 2002)

Assaults under investigation (March 27, 2002)
Newark Police are investigating a report of another assault in the Newark area that they believe may be related to the March 13 assault of a UD student who was grabbed from behind while jogging on East Park Place near Chapel Street.
Police investigating assaults (March 19, 2002)
Police are investigating four unrelated incidents that have occurred recently near the campus. At this time, there is no evidence that these crimes are related.
Student assaulted near campus March 13 (March 14, 2002)
Newark Police are investigating an incident that happened about 10:15 p.m., Wednesday, March 13. A female student was jogging on East Park Place near Chapel Street when she was grabbed from behind by a man wearing a black ski mask and dark clothing.
Police investigate attempted rape (March 13, 2002)
The Newark Police Department is investigating a reported attempted rape early Sunday morning of a 19-year-old woman who was visiting at School Lane Apartments.
