Corporate governance panel to discuss dissident directors Dec. 3
10:35 a.m., Nov. 21, 2002--Corporate governance experts will discuss the role of dissident members of corporate boards of directors from 9:30-10:45 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, in 126 MBNA America Hall. The panel discussion is part of a course on corporate governance taught by Charles Elson, Woolard Professor and director of the University of Delawares Center for Corporate Governance. Panelists for the session, which will be the final discussion of the fall semester, will be David Berger, partner with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati; Lawrence Hamermesh, associate professor of law at the Widener University School of Law; Jack Jacobs, vice chancellor for the Delaware Court of Chancery; Rich Koppes, counsel with Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue; Peter Langerman, chairman of the board of Franklin Mutual Advisers; Mark Sargent, dean of the School of Law at Villanova University; and Steven Perkins, managing partner with Ranger Governance.
