Operation Smile's volunteers help medical teams

More than 50 donors paid $1 apiece to write a personal message on “happy face” stationery, for delivery to the student, faculty or staff member of their choice. Organization members will attach lollipops to the messages and send them via campus mail as final exams approach. Operation Smile sponsors teams of volunteer medical professionals, who travel to developing countries to perform reconstructive surgery on children and adults with facial deformities.
