Brackenville Road closed July 26 for tree removal
 

July 25, 2002--The Delaware Department of Transportation announces that Brackenville Road will be closed at two locations to allow a DelDOT-hired contractor to remove trees along the roadway. The work will be done from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., Friday, July 26.

The first location is on Brackenville Road between Old Wilmington Road and Barley Mill Road, where two trees will be removed. The second location is on Brackenville Road between Old Wilmington Road and Route 41, where four trees will be taken down.

The roadway will be open to local residents only, and will be closed to through traffic. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes through the area while the work is being done.
