Barenaked Ladies to perform at The Bob Nov. 26

Tickets are now on sale for a concert by the Barenaked Ladies at the Bob Carpenter Center, scheduled at 7:30 p.m., Monday, Nov. 26.

Tickets for the show—at $29.50 and $38.50—are available at the box offices at The Bob and in the Trabant University Center and at Ticketmaster outlets. To charge tickets by phone, call (302) 984–2000 or (215) 336-2000.

The UD concert comes just after the Ladies’ “Disc One: All Their Greatest Hits/1991-2001” hits record stores on Nov. 13.

“Disc One” is packed with classics by the Toronto-based hit makers, including their chart-topping 1998 single “One Week.” Also making an appearance are last year’s radio hits “Pinch Me” and “Too Little Too Late,” the current heavy-rotator “Falling for the First Time,” as well as “$1000000,” “The Old Apartment,” “Brian Wilson,” “Jane,” and other memorable cuts.

The original plan was to let fans choose the last of the 18 tracks on the album, via VH1.com's web site (with access available through the band's web site at [www.bnlmusic.com]). However, the vote resulted in a dead heat between two titles: “Be My Yoko Ono,” from the group’s debut album “Gordon” (1992), and “Alternative Girlfriend” from “Maybe You Should Drive”(1994). Reprise Records and the band agreed to turn “Disc One” into a 19-track extravaganza and included both tunes.

The new CD also includes two new tracks, “It's Only Me (The Wizard Of Magicland)” and “Thanks That Was Fun,” which the Ladies recorded specifically for this project.
