Dec. 19, 2002—Robert A. Bigelow, who taught in the University of Delaware’s School of Education, died Aug. 15, 2002. He was 60.

Bigelow’s teaching stint at UD began in 1996, after a career in public education, where he worked in research, evaluation and assessment with the Pittsburgh Board of Education, the Delaware Department of Public Instruction and the Christina School District.

During his retirement years Bigelow also served as a consultant for school districts and doctoral candidates.
