Bauman paintings exhibited at Grace Church gallery until Jan. 24

3:55 p.m., Dec. 18, 2002-- Marilyn Bauman, who taught in UD’s writing program for 16 years, has put together an exhibit of her paintings that will be on display through Jan. 24 in the Gallery at Grace Church, 900 Washington St., in Wilmington.

Bauman uses intense colors and sharp contrasts in her paintings, which range from portraits, to still life and landscapes. Tropical fishing villages in Florida, the rocky coast of Massachusetts, the architecture of Quebec, Wilmington’s riverfront and local pastures have inspired her recent work.

For more information, call Bauman at 998-9142 or Lois Crouse at Grace Church at 655-8847.
