Arrival Survival volunteers sought

June 4, 2002--The University of Delaware Office of Residence Life is seeking volunteers to participate on the 2002 Arrival Survival Team, which will help new students move into their residence halls on Sunday, Sept. 1.

The team draws volunteers from among students, alumni, faculty and staff.

Volunteers can assist as luggage luggers, who carry bags and other belongings; as lobby greeters, who meet and greet students and their parents; and as team leaders, to check on the volunteers and lend a hand as time permits.

More than 500 volunteers are sought. For details, call Frank Newton, assistant director of the Office of Residence Life, at 831-2814. The deadline for volunteer registration is July 31.
