AAUW award applications due by March 18
 

The Newark Branch or the American Association of University Women (AAUW) will present its annual award to an outstanding senior woman who will graduate from the University of Delaware in May.

The primary criteria are academic achievement and leadership in volunteer service, not only on campus, but for the Greater Newark area or in her home community. The candidate must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25.

The $250 award will be presented during the University Honors Day ceremonies on May 3, and the recipient will be recognized at the May meeting of the Newark Branch AAUW.

Applications are due in the Office of Women’s Affairs, 305 Hullihen Hall, by March 18. The award recipient will be notified in April. Applications are available in the Office of Women’s Affairs.
