UD exceeds United Way goal

11:35 a.m., Nov. 22, 2002--UD has exceeded its goal of $175,000 for the United Way, and to date, $175,675 has been raised, according to Richie Holland, campaign chairperson and manager of human resources.

“Once again the generosity of employees and retirees at the University has put us over the top in contributions to the United Way,” Roselle said. “This coming together of the University community provides much needed services and assistance to our friends and neighbors in Delaware.”

“The response we have received for the United Way campaign from UD employees and retirees who understand the importance of the United Way has been gratifying, and special thanks go to those who have worked to make the campaign a success,” Maxine Colm, vice president for administration said. “The contributions from UD will help improve the quality of life throughout our state.”
