Oct. 3, 2002—Martha Toler Parvis, 81, of Newark, who served as executive secretary for the University’s Longwood Graduate Program for 19 years and retired in 1990, died Saturday, Sept. 28, 2002. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 5, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Wilmington. There will be no viewing and interment will be private.
