Technology development funding seminar set Oct. 24
9:30 a.m., Oct. 23, 2002-- The Delaware Technology Assistance Program, an initiative of the Small Business Development Center, will hold a seminar from 8 a.m. to 4:45 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 24, at the Delaware Biotechnology Institute for entrepreneurs and researchers interested in securing federal funding for technology development efforts. By attending the seminar, technology developers can learn how to successfully apply for awards from a $1.5 billion grant program administered by the Small Business Administration (SBA) to support small businesses in the research and development of marketable technologies and concepts. The seminar details the programs, their requirements and provides little-known proposal tips from successful award winners. Conducted by Gail and Jim Greenwood, of Greenwood Associates, the seminar also features a guest speaker from SBAs Office of Technology.
