GCC holds open house Oct. 31

3:35 p.m., Oct. 29, 2002--The Graphic Communications Center (GCC) is holding its 12th annual open house for the University community from 2-4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 31, in the General Services Building. Light refreshments will be served.

The center will showcase the latest technologies in printing equipment and give away posters of the candlelight commemoration, held on the one-year anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Designed by Monroe Givens, assistant director of creative services in the Office of Public Relations, with photography by Eric Crossan, the poster was printed on GCC’s five-color press.

Office products supplier Boise Cascade will sponsor a product show with approximately 20 vendors displaying office products and offering free samples.

Campus Delivery, Publications, Campus Mail, Procurement Services and Supporting Services also will participate in the open house.

Copies of the poster are available at the Office of Public Relations, 150 South College Ave.
