'Candida' performances scheduled

The Professional Theater Training Program at the University of Delaware will be performing George Bernard Shaw’s comedy, “Candida,” Oct. 31 through Nov. 4 with two additional performances scheduled for Feb. 8 and 17. All performances will take place in Hartshorn Hall, Academy Street and East Park Place, Newark.

“Candida,” one of Shaw’s most popular plays, revolves around a love triangle between Candida, her husband and a love-sick poet.

The performance dates and times are as follows: Oct. 31, Nov. 1-3 at 7:30 p.m.; Nov. 3 and 4 at 12:30 p.m.; Feb. 8 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 17 at 12:30 p.m.

Included in the 12:30 p.m. performance on Nov. 3 is a Talk Back, a post-performance discussion with the cast.
