Irish novelist to read her work

Novelist, biographer and playwright Mary Rose Callaghan will read from her most recent novel, The Visitors’ Book, at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 15, in 113 Memorial Hall, on UD’s Main Mall, Newark.

The author of six novels, a biography and a play, Callaghan, who holds a degree from University College, Dublin, has also written many short stories, which have appeared in magazines and anthologies.

The north Dublin native, who lived in Newark for 20 years, now resides in Bray, County Wicklow, Ireland.
