Begleiter to discuss 'Media and the War on Terrorism' April 11

Ralph J. Begleiter, Rosenberg Professor of Communication and former CNN correspondent, will present a talk on “The Media and the War on Terrorism” from 7-8:30 p.m., Thursday, April 11, in Room 209/211 Trabant University Center.

Begleiter will explore issues related to the way the news media and the government have interacted after the Sept. 11 attacks and will raise questions about the news media’s “national identity.”

The free public lecture is sponsored by the College of Arts and Science Outreach Program and the Master of Arts in Liberal Studies program.
