Enjoy a spring Sunday afternoon with a Southern-style buffet and live music and support a good cause by attending the University of Delaware Women's Club (UDWC) scholarship fundraiser from 3-6 p.m., Sunday, April 29, at a home in Southbank Farms.

The event will include the buffet and beverages, a silent auction, restaurant raffle, jewelry by local artisans and a tour of nearby Britain House, a 150-year-old original farm house.

Cost is $25 each for adults and $10 for children under 16. Reservations are requested. For more information or to make reservations, call Maura Perkins at (302) 831-1995. Checks should be made payable to the University of Delaware Women's Club and sent to Maura Perkins, 3884 Telegraph Rd., Elkton, MD 21921.

Music will be provided by well-known local musicians Joe Harris (alto, tenor and soprano saxophones, vocals) and Mike Malatesta (keyboards, vocals), who both have had professional music careers of 30 years.

Each year UDWC holds a scholarship fundraiser to support women in Professional and Continuing Studies who are in good academic standing and in substantial financial need and who generally do not qualify for traditional financial aid.
