Films, featured talks, fun and food with an international flair mark International Education Week (IEW) at the University of Delaware from Monday, Nov. 15, through Saturday, Nov. 20. The week will be celebrated with talks on international issues, foreign films, information sessions and a photo exhibition about study abroad programs, opportunities to sample food from all over the world, and will conclude with International Sports Day.
Highlights include a spirited performance by Sviraj, a group of ethnic Balkan musicians who have played together since 1988, featuring a variety of musical selections from Eastern Europe. Danilo Yanich, associate professor of urban affairs, is a member of the ensemble.
