Beginning Friday, Jan. 23, through Friday, Feb. 27, skaters at the University of Delaware Ice Arena can enjoy spinning to their favorite tunes while a professional DJ from Music Production Entertainment Inc. supplies the beat.

From 8-10 p.m., Fridays, during public skating sessions on Jan. 23, Jan. 30, Feb. 6, Feb. 13 and Feb. 27, a special engagement DJ will take requests, create special sets and generally keep the grooves smooth for skaters of all ages at the Fred Rust Ice Arena on Route 896 in Newark.

Admission to public sessions is $5; skate rentals are $3. Parental supervision is required for children 12 and under. For more information, call 831-6038.
