Letterpress printing on display through March 14
The Department of Art at the University of Delaware is presenting an exhibit of 35 artworks produced through letterpress printing by faculty and students of the Royal College of Art in London. The display, free and open to the public, can be seen through tomorrow, Friday, March 14, in the gallery of Recitation Hall, Main Street and North College Avenues, Newark.

HTAC to present comedy March 14-22
Harrington Theatre Arts Company, a student performing group at the University of Delaware, will present “A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To The Forum,” at 8 p.m., March 14,16, 20, 21 and 22 and at 2 p.m. on March 15. All performances will be held in the auditorium of Pearson Hall, Academy Street, Newark. Tickets, available at the door, are $7 for the general public and $5 for UD students and senior citizens. Tibetan freedom fighters lecture March 19
The University of Delaware chapter of Amnesty International will present a lecture on Tibetan freedom fighters at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 19 in 209 Smith Hall, Amstel and South College Avenues, Newark. The lecture, free and open to the public, will be presented by Palden Gyatso, a Tibetan monk who spent 33 years in jail in Tibet for his opposition to the Chinese occupation of the country, and Choeying Kunsang and Passang Lhamo, two young Tibetan nuns who spent time in Tibet's Drapchi prison. Philosophy professors to debate Roe vs. Wade March 19
Richard Hanley and Katherin Rogers, both professors in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Delaware, will debate “Thirty Years Later: Is Roe vs. Wade Morally Defensible?” at 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, at UD. The debate, free and open to the public, will be held in 104 Gore Hall, South College Avenue, Newark.

Art history lecture March 20
The Department of Art History at the University of Delaware will present a lecture on “Rembrandt and the Lure of Classical Antiquity” at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, March 20, in 006 of the Willard Hall Education Building, Main Street, Newark. Academic competition at UD March 22
The University of Delaware will host the Blue Hen Invitational V, a National Academic Quiz Team (NAQT) event for high school students, from 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m., Saturday, March 22, in 115 Purnell Hall, Amstel Avenue and Orchard Road, Newark. Forty-eight teams will compete through 20 rounds of tossup and bonus questions. The top three winning teams will quality for the NAQT High School National Championships in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Affirmative Action panel March 25
A panel discussion on the role of affirmative action in college admissions, with speakers who support and oppose it, will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 at the University of Delaware. The discussion will be held in the theatre of the Trabant University Center, Main Street and South College Avenue, Newark.
