A substitute teachers’ Job Fair will be held from 2-5 p.m., Wednesday, March 5 in Room 555 of the William Carter Partnership Center on the campus of Delaware Technical and Community College in Georgetown. The fair was originally scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 19, and canceled due to inclement weather.

Persons looking for part-time or temporary employment options are invited to attend and talk with representatives from Southern Delaware public school districts. Students also are invited to attend. A teacher education major is not required to work as a substitute teacher; the minimum requirement is a high school diploma.

Employment applications will be available from participating school districts including: Caesar Rodney; Cape Henlopen; Capital; Indian River; Lake Forest; Laurel; Milford; Polytech; Seaford; Sussex Technical; and Woodbridge.
