More than 120 school districts nationwide will be recruiting at Project Search, a job fair for prospective teachers, school counselors, administrators and education specialists for Fall 2003 positions. Scheduled from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, at the University of Delaware, the event will be held in the Bob Carpenter Sports/Convocation Center, Routes 4 and 896, Newark. The following day, Thursday, March 20, is Delaware Day. Recruiters from most of the states school systems, will be present from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Trabant University Center, Main Street and South College Avenue, Newark. Individual interviews will be scheduled for both days early on Wednesday, March 19. Candidates should arrive between 8-9 a.m. to check in, prepare and begin the interview scheduling process. Those arriving after 9:30 or attending for the first time on Thursday, may find few interview slots remain. Those seeking jobs either day must pre-register by calling (302) 831-8570. The event is free to all current UD students and alumni and there is a $5 registration fee for all others.
