UD graduate students appearing in "Mrs. Warren's Profession" include Sarah Norman as Vivie and Andrea Ferraz as Mrs. Warren.

The Professional Theatre Training Program at the University of Delaware will open “Mrs. Warren’s Profession,” a scintillating expose of double standards by George Bernard Shaw, with performances at 12:30 and 7:30 p.m., on Saturday, April 26. All performances will take place in Hartshorn Hall, Academy Street and East Park Place, Newark.

The plays tells the story of Vivie, who discovers that her comfortable upbringing was financed by her mother’s superb management skills in a questionable profession. Mrs. Warren defends her career choice as the epitome of capitalism in this amusing portrayal of hypocrisy.
Additional performances are scheduled at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, and at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2; Thursday, May 8; and Saturday, May 10.

Tickets are $14-$17 for the general public; $12-$15 for University faculty, staff and senior citizens and $7-$10 for students and may be purchased by mail, phone or in person from the Hartshorn box office. For more information, call (302) 831-2204.
