Donna L. Geary, senior secretary in the Economics Department, died on Dec. 13, 1998, at home. She was 46. Mrs. Geary came to the University in 1996. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Henry "Corky" Geary; three daughters, Wendy, Lauren and Julie; her parents; three brothers and a sister.

Mrs. Geary made the Department of Economics a pleasant place to work, her colleagues say. She was always willing to help anyone out, and often went out of her way to get tasks done right. She touched the lives of many in the College, and she is missed.
