Cathy and Glenn Jellenik of Wilmington, Del., who met while freshmen at the University, are participating in the American Lung Association Big Ride, a 45-day trip from Seattle, Wash., to Washington, D.C. According to Glenn, AS '95, each rider must raise $6,000 to qualify, which is a big challenge in itself, he says. The couple, who biked to Denver three years ago, prepared by taking part in regional races and working out at the gym. Cathy, AS '91, '97M, works in the language lab at Archmere Academy and Glenn, a soccer and baseball coach at Tatnall School, also works at Dead Presidents, a Wilmington restaurant. The Big Ride, which began June 1, is expected to end Aug. 1 with 1,000 cyclists participating.
