From left are Ruth Toole of Newark, a member of the church choir; Steven Combs, Delaware '88, a baritone who recently appeared in the New York Metropolitan Opera's production of Britten's Death in Venice; Barbara Boyle Tobler, Delaware '92, a soprano who is currently pursuing a master's degree at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville; Gary Seydell, Delaware '91, a tenor who is currently finishing his master's degree in vocal performance at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory; and Andrea Arena of Newark, Delaware '94, who recently was invited to sing with the Central Florida Lyric Opera Co. David Herman, UD professor of music, accompanied the soloists on the organ.
