University of Delaware Office of Public Relations The Messenger Vol. 5, No. 1/1995 Once more, with relish Delaware's own hotdogger, Kirsten Suto, Delaware '95, is one of 12 college graduates, selected from 1,000 candidates, who spend a year crisscrossing America in official Oscar Mayer Wienermobiles, dispensing good cheer and wiener whistles at public events from grocery store openings to the Kentucky Derby. Two hotdoggers travel in each Wienermobile, which comes with a video monitor, a 27-inch TV with VCR, air conditioning, citizens band radio and a public address system. Oscar Mayer has used the Wienermobile promotion since 1936. Another University graduate, Paul Devery, Delaware '90, also served as a hotdogger.
