Alumni inducted

     Five University alumni were inducted into the University's Alumni
Wall of Fame, a photographic exhibit of outstanding alumni housed in
the Alumni Room of the Perkins Student Center. Shown (from left) are
University President David P. Roselle, William B. Chandler III,
Delaware '73 AS, of Dagsboro, Del., vice chancellor of the Delaware
Court of Chancery; Jane G. Pepper, Delaware '76 AG, '78M, of Media,
Pa., president of the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society and manager
of the Philadelphia Flower Show; Jack Messman, Delaware '62 EG, of
Fort Worth, Texas, president and CEO of Union Pacific Resources Co.;
and Donald F. Crossan, Delaware '50 AG, of Newark, Del., UD professor
emeritus of plant pathology and former dean of the College of
Agricultural Sciences. Not pictured is Lorraine Waxman Pearce,
Delaware '58M/AS, of Washington, D.C., owner, consultant and art
teacher at Getty House Antiques and first White House curator.
