Resume referral service
The Career Planning and Placement Office can now scan student resumes
and then mail or fax them to interested employers.
Funding from employer and alumni gifts has allowed the office to
purchase a program called FileMagic, which can sort scanned resumes of all
students registered with Career Planning and Placement. The resume referral
service program will rapidly provide information on qualified students,
while assisting those employers who cannot make campus visits. For further
information, call (302) 831-2391.

Reaching out to engineers
Practicing engineers can update their skills or develop new expertise
through the University's engineering outreach program, which offers
late-afternoon and evening graduate credit courses, short update courses
and non-thesis master's degrees.
Certain graduate courses and non-credit short courses are available on
videotape or live satellite broadcast for students who cannot attend
regularly scheduled classes on campus. For further information, call (302)
831-2401 or e-mail inquiries to: outreach@mvs.udel.edu.

Correction
A story on the improved field at Delaware Stadium in the fall
Messenger should have said that excess water is removed through an
underground drainage system into an existing storm sewer.
