Welcome, all UD alumni!
Under the direction of President Patrick Harker, we are delighted to announce that all University of Delaware alumni will begin receiving the UD Messenger, the award-winning quarterly magazine that keeps readers up to date on the activities of students, faculty and alumni. By extending our distribution to all alumni, we hope to connect and engage a broader base of alumni and friends in the activities taking place with the University on campus and around the world.
In addition, over the next several months, President Harker is attending a series of global gatherings of alumni in various cities to give graduates an opportunity to “Rediscover UD” on its path to prominence, as well as a chance to get together with friends and fellow alumni. The series kicked off in early November with a reception in New York City. I hope you’ll be able to join us for future programs in your region.
Each issue of the Messenger includes such regular features as class notes, reports on the cutting-edge research being conducted by UD faculty and students, articles about academic programs and student activities, sports news and profiles of the lives and accomplishments of alumni. One section of the magazine highlights news of specific interest to parents of current students, who also receive a subscription.
If you do not wish to receive future issues of the magazine, please visit this web site: [www.udel.edu/messengerlist].
We hope you enjoy this continuing connection to your alma mater.
