Captured in time
Kelly McConnell-Cox, AS ’96, created this portrait of former Delaware Gov. Elbert Carvel and his wife, Ann, that now hangs in the lobby of UD’s recently dedicated Elbert N. and Ann V. Carvel Research and Education Center, in Georgetown, Del. (See article on page 11.) Cox, who also holds a master of fine arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art, is a full-time artist living in Unionville, Pa. In addition to portraits, Cox’s work ranges from portrayals of pets to landscapes and seaside scenes. See examples at her web site [www. Studiovilleinc.com].
