Sports fans are now welcomed to Blue Hen Coutnry by a redesigned athletics web site [www.udel.edu/ sportsinfo/], designed to be bright, informative and easy to navigate.

Highlights of Delaware athletics are presented in a fresh, new way on the site.  Important news and game coverage are featured in the center column, with convenient links to individual teams available on the right side of the page, along with a box of spirit-related links that take visitors to sites where they can buy tickets, learn about special promotions, find directions and a place to stay, buy Blue Hen merchandise and play the UD Fight Song.

The site also highlights upcoming events and has a section especially for UD athletes with links to NCAA rules, the policy manual, a prospective student-athlete questionnaire and information on student services.

“The athletics web site is an important resource for our fans,” Edgar N. Johnson, director of Intercollegiate Athletics, says, “and we’re happy to provide up-to-date information in a way that’s attractive, easy to read and easy to navigate.”

The Sports Information Office, which maintains the site, was assisted in the redesign by staff in Information Technologies’ Management Information Services and User Services units and the Office of Public Relations.
