The play’s their thing

Two graduates of the University’s Professional Theatre Training Program and a UD professor performed in the Shenandoah Shakespeare Company’s version of Les Liaisons Dangereuses in September. Sarah Fallon, AS ’00/M, who played Mme. Tourvel, and René Thornton Jr., AS ’99M, who played Valmont, were among the 2004-05 resident troupe actors, and James Keegan, assistant professor of English and a published poet, performed on the violin in this adaptation of the 1782 French novel. Shenandoah Shakespeare tours internationally and performs in repertory in the Blackfriars Playhouse, Staunton, Va.
