The Beta Xi Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the international nursing honor society, held an anniversary dinner in April to celebrate its 30th year at the University. Pat Drake, CHNS '75, at right, the first president of the local chapter, noted that there were 108 charter members in 1974, and a total of 1,443 members have been inducted since the chapter was formed. Jill Buccos, CHNS '04, who was inducted in the fall of 2003, is among the 487 active members now in UD's chapter.
