Linda Brinton Harra, HNS '71, left, and Donald J. Lowe Jr., AG '66, right, were presented the Outstanding Alumni Award during halftime of the Homecoming football game, Oct. 13. Presented by R. Thorpe Moeckel, AS '79, center, president of the Alumni Association board of directors, the award honors alumni who have done "outstanding work" for the University of Delaware or its Alumni Association. Harra, who lives in Wilminton, Del., served on the Association's board from 1994 to 2001 and now co-chairs the Campaign for Delaware steering committee for the College of Health and Nursing Sciences. Lowe of Falls Church, Va., also served on the board from 1993 through 1997 and he actively recruits students from the greater Virginia area through the Volunteer Admissions Support Team. Eighty-three alumni have received this award.
