Three outstanding seniors were recognized at Honors Day ceremonies last spring with awards that recognized their scholarship, leadership, citizenship and character. Thomas Pellathy (left), AS 2000/AS 2001M, of Latrobe, Pa., and Matthew T. Schwartz, BE 2001, of Vernon, Conn., received the Alexander J. Taylor Jr. Award, and Sherri L. Freeman, AG 2001, of Wilmington, Del., received the Emalea P. Warner Award. Each of the seniors was awarded a $2,000 U.S. Savings Bond by the Alumni Association.
